Outlook Express Indentities
My motherboard crashed and had to be replaced. The HP recovery software had to be reinstalled. Now when I use outlook express it brings up an OLD identity (with old files I used a year ago).
My question is how do I point outlook express to the right Identity? I see it in the folder Identities but do not know how to make it point to it.
Thanks for your time and help in this matter.

Re: Outlook Express Indentities
The information is held in the registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities.

Re: Outlook Express Indentities
I used regedit and found the HKEY_CURRENT_USER but did not find the sub Identities. I did click on DEFAULT in the second screen and it asked for a value. Is that where I type {61F54020-4924-11D4-9734-000021F69A59}?

Re: Outlook Express Indentities
I think the problem is in managing more than one identities.
You can try the identity tab under file menu and from there manage identities. The tab has got a option that asks you which identity to start with when opening Outlook Express.
Thanks
