SUS sp1 WAU.adm

I have been trying to implement SUS in my AD environment.
Here is what I have done.
1. downloaded the 25k WAU.adm into the %systemroot%/inf
2. ran GPEDIT.msc and add/removed the WAU.inf
3. then I opened AD users and computers under the appropriate OU created the policy and went to add/removed the WAU.adm under computer configuration/administrative templates
4. I configured the SUS settings under windows update
5. I go to the clients under this OU and look at there update log and I do not see any connection or failure to the SUS server I specified.
6. any Ideas ??

I am using SUS but not AD. I suggest check out this newsgroup hosted by MS:

news:microsoft.public.softwareupdatesvcs

All my SUS questions were answered there.
