PPC syncronization with Outlook 2000

Does anyone know if MS intends to allow syncronization of Outlook follow up flags with PPC 2002? At the moment every follow up I flag in desktop outlook also needs to be followed by a new task asking for the same thing on my device. any help or direction toward 3rd party solutions appreciated.
