yellow question mark on "My Computer" icon on SBS server
I've never noticed it before, but when I opened up Windows Expoere on my Small Business Server 4.5, there is a yellow question mark, similar to what is found in device manager when there is a device conflict. I'm hesitant to reboot the machine until I know what this question mark is. Thanks.

The question mark is on the "My Computer" location in Windows Explorer.

Right click on it and check/properties/ Hardware/ Device Manager see if it just means you have a bad driver in there somewhere. If there is nothing there then Right Click again and select Manage and look in the Event Viewer to see if there are any messages under System.

Hi Ron,
The OS is NT 4, not W2K. I checked all the devices in control panel and checked the event viewer. Thanks.
