BL490c G6 VMware boot issues with dual SSD

We are installing VMWare ESXi 4.0 and finding that about half of the servers fail to boot – they seem to be defaulting to the second SSD – the one VMWare sees as Disk 1 (we are installing VMWare on Disk 0). There doesn’t appear to be any pattern to this issue, and there doesn’t seem to be any setting to change which drive the server tries to boot from first. If we install VMWare to the other disk, it works – but this is causing significant delays in installation and might cause support problems later on.
