blade server and two ethernet blade switch in c3000
Good day. We had 7 blade servers (ProLiant BL460c G1, ProLiant BL460c G7, ProLiant BL465c G7) in c3000 and one GbE2c Ethernet Blade Switch (interconnection bay1). All integrated NIC of servers belong this blade switch. Further we buy second GbE2c Layer 2/3 Ethernet Blade Switch (interconnection bay2).
Is it possible connect one integrate NIC to first switch and second integrate NIC to second switch for redundancy? (if fisrt switch break, all packet flow from second switch)

Re: blade server and two ethernet blade switch in c3000
Hi
You will need to add NIC Mezz card to be able to connect to the switch in interconnect bay2. In c3000 setup, the server onboard lom ports connect to the switch in bay1, and the mezz 1 connect to bay2. check the attached c3000 port mapping.
Thankx
