C3000 AJ822B Switch only able to active 2 of the 4 populated Ports.

C3000 Chassis with a single AJ822B 8/24c FIber Switch with blades (BL460CG8) in slots, (1,2,3,5,6,7). I hAVe 4 switch ports with gbics installed. The FIrware is 7.4.2.C

The switch is licensed for 24 ports

The mappings are

BAY 1-3, 5-7, Server Mez Slot 1  Port 1

BAY 1-3,5-7 Server Mez slot 1, Port 2.

1) Does PORT 1, and PORT 2 Mean the physical switch ports that are active (Ports 17, 18 in my case)?

2) How do I get Switch ports 3 and 4 (19 and 20) to become enabled to attach another Array to them? I try to change them from N ports to F-N ports but 19 and 20 will not become enabled when I select enable under Port Admin.

Am i just out of luck and ony have 2 physical switch ports to work with? this is what I am fearing.

This is closed. The Access Gateway option is what was interfering with the other ports. Really good article on Broadcom's site about access gatway.
