c3000 noise

Can anyone tell me how much noise a HP BladeSystem c3000 Enclosure makes when at idle and full utilization?

Some details:
- 6 Fans
- 6 PSU
- 7 wx460c
- 2 pass thru

That's really something! Why did HP bother puting in an "Acoustic moise" section in the quickspecs and even made the disclaimer that the noise measurements were in accordance with ISO9296 etc. and then all they listed for measurements is "depends/varies on server configuration and mix of server blades". This is some tasteless joke.

The C7000 however, has idle only acoustic values. Maybe you can use those as a reference. I would estimate the C3000 might be at about 60% of these?

Why do you need 6 PSU? It will probably only turn two of them on.

Because of a 100% uptime demand by the customer (custumer is not getting 100% uptime, but we want is as close as it gets).

With 6 PSU i can use several power courses and i dont need to worry about defect PSU. Some other issus.
