Hello,
I want to do a full upgrade on our enclosures Bladesystem c7000.
I'm having a lot of trouble finding the compatibility matrix for all the components as the links on HP site have changed.
I need the compatibility matrix and the update order.
OA
Enclosure
Interconnect components (VC on Domain+FlexFabric)
Devices ( ProLiant BL460c G7 + ProLiant BL460c Gen8)
Any help with this?

SolutionSee
1. https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c02268781
If you find "old" links, try to replace hp.com by hpe.com in the link.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: C7000 Firmware Upgrade Path
Thanks, from what i read i got the following order:
- OA
- Enclosure
- Interconnect components (VC on Domain+FlexFabric)
- Devices ( ProLiant BL460c G7 + ProLiant BL460c Gen8)
Now for the compatibility between components, i can't find the "HP Firmware Compatibility Matrix".
About the tool, are you referring to the SUM/SPP ISO?
Tried replacing hp.com with hpe.com and nothing....
Can you post the new link for the doc regarding "HP BladeSystem ProLiant Firmware Management Best Practices"?

Re: C7000 Firmware Upgrade Path
From what I read and wrote:
...
From
HP BladeSystem ProLiant Firmware Management Best Practices
chapter "Generic BladeSystem firmware update installation order":
1. Update the blades and the OA by using the HP BladeSystem Online Firmware Bundles for Windows and Linux . Be sure to use a workstation connected to the same network as the OA.
2. Update any offline-only firmware with the HP BladeSystem FDT or HP Firmware Maintenance CD tool.
3. Update the VC firmware with the VCSU from a workstation that is connected to the same network(s) as the OA and VC Ethernet modules. Be sure to update the firmware after all other updates are applied, after servers are rebooted, and after all firmware is activated.
...
The HP Firmware Maintenance CD tool is the current SPP.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
