c7000 OA and Cisco 3020 Device Manager issues
Hello all,
I'm suffering issues connecting to the configuration web interface of the Cisco 3020 Catalyst switch located within a c7000 enclosure.
Here come the tests:
- Network configuration in the four switches is ok, and are reachable via Telnet from the OA network withouth problems.
- The switches device manager is reachable from the same network, using a separate Internet Explorer session and linking directly to the 3020 management ip address (http://ip-of-3020).
- When clicking on the link "Console" on the Interconnect Bays submenu for any of the switches, a new window is opened with exactly the same link (http://ip-of-3020), but the device manager never comes up and got a hang on the Internet Explorer.
- The username/password from the OA is already configured in the local database of the switches, with privilege level 15. HTTP server set to local authentication.
- Using latest OA version, and IOS 12.2(25)SEF1 for the switch, whith no crypto functionalities.
Is anybody out there suffering a similar issue? It looks like a credentials thing but don't know how to troubleshout it.
Thanks a lot!

Clear Cache of the browser and Login and Give a try. I had the problem but after clearing Cache it went away.

Re: c7000 OA and Cisco 3020 Device Manager issues
Yes, this was also tested and nothing happened.
The configuration was: three diferent users in the local database and an enable secret password different from the user's defined.
After reseting the switches to default and updating to 12.2(44)SE the problems went away and no more hangs were observed.
Thanks a lot for your help!
