Change boot order/BIOS settings via OS (scripted?)
Related to all p-class and c-class BL servers, is there a way to change the Boot Order, Serial Number, or Product id from the OS? We would like a way to script changes along these lines. We have 8000+ Proliant systems, everything must be scripted and done in uptime. I would not like to boot a box and manually change the boot order, creating an unnecessary downtime.

Re: Change boot order/BIOS settings via OS (scripted?)
You should look at the Smartstart Scripting Toolkit.
http://h18006.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/toolkit/index.html
And if you have p/c class blades then you probably have RDP installed which uses the scripting toolkit.
Just because a task runs in WinPE does not Take a deep look at the HPONCFG & CPQLOCFG iLO scripting tools for boot-order.
