Solutionthere are a series of virtual connect cookbooks and a document VC for dummies (no offense its the name of the pdf book).
what I normally do is find a VC scenario that matches a cookbook and just follow the cookbook. That will also provide documentation for you when you have to reverse engineer the configuration if you followed a cookbook.

Re: Help configuring an HP Virtual conect to a blade server
2. Did you create a server profile? or just create the VC Domain and Network profiles?
3. You have to shut the server down to apply a server profile.
4. Don't use Internet Explorer 8

Re: Help configuring an HP Virtual conect to a blade server
I revised the information in the cook books and still even thought everything is configured correctly the configuration does not seem to be working.
I created the Domain .
I select the MAC address asignation.
but when I try to add the network I fill the network information
then I try to select the port 1 from bay 1 and it just return a blank instead of selecting the port the i just choose..
Any idea.. Please help thanks

Re: Help configuring an HP Virtual conect to a blade server
make sure you are not using IE8, doesn't work with Virtual Connect manager. Use IE7 or Firefox...

Re: Help configuring an HP Virtual conect to a blade server
Go into your Server profiles, and you will need to "select" the network profile each nic talks too.
