How to dissable LOMs Flow Control by VC?

We contacted the Broadcom for disabling flow control of bnx2x LOMs and they told that we must use Virtual Connect for this purpose! How is it possible?

Re: How to dissable LOMs Flow Control by VC?

hi Nima,

The setting to disable flow control is not configurable in the current firmware revision for Virtual Connect.

However you can disable flow control for individual Proliant servers. Check this guide:

hope that helps

Try dropless_fc=1 as a parameter to the bnx2x kernel module.

The Solution: Upgrade the firmware to 2.33 and use set advanced-networking FlowControl= off
