recently an issue has arise at a customer site. lately the Blade server is experiencing abnormal power down. once the server goes offline. we need to pull the server out and reseat it again on the Enclosure bay otherwise it doesnt power on, physically nor through ILO. we have tested all the logs from OA. IML. Windows Event Logs.
The Firmwares are as follow:
C7000 enclosure with OA Firmware : 2.20
BL680c G5 current ROM version is 23/09/2008 upgraded last week after the initial power problem from 13/02/2008
ilo firmware version 1.70 02/12/2008.
pls assist and advice. we have recommended upgrading of OA Firmware to 2.50.
Why do we need to unplug the server n reseat the server to power on.
all help appreciated.

SolutionSee the compatability matrix to see what other firmware you need to update at the same time.
