Information about HP's blade systems?
Because I clearly have a problem, I just picked up a c7000 with all its fans, all PSUs, some interconnect modules (I guess), admin modules (maybe?) and 6 blades (G6 BL460c so they'll probably be getting binned). And now I have questions (and yes, I know it's incredibly noisy and wil quadruple my power bill and is just generally ridiculous for anyone not running a data center.....but it was £100 for the lot)
I currently have a SAS JBOD hooked up to a dl360 for a file share, can I connect that to the blades somehow? I see there's a SAS switch module (couple of different types actually) available, is that what I need?
Is there a list anywhere of modules that can go in the c7000? The BL460c seems to be the most common compute module, bit I think there's full height ones as well? And what's the deal with the graphics expansion module, does that take mxm format GPUs? I've seen PCI expansion blades as well I think? Adding standard pcie cards is something I would be interested in)
I have a 10gb rack switch and was going to stuff 10gb cards in my current rack servers, what do I need to get my blades on a 10gb network?

Re: Information about HP's blade systems?
Hello,
You may refer to the "HPE 6Gb SAS BL Switch User Guide" for using the switch to connect to JBOD as Direct Attach Storage.
