Power calculations for BL460c
Dears,
we are planning to use 7 blade servers of the type BL460c. The question is when calculating the power, do we add the individual power consumption like 7 x 1200, or there is another calculation method. Note that we will place these 7 blade servers in a c7000 enclosure which will be hosted in HP 10642 Rack Shock Pallet.

Here is an Applikation from HP that will calculate your power needs for you.

Just enter your entended setup one the enclosure and it will add up to give you an estimate what the enclosure will need...

HP BladeSystem Power Sizer is really cool tool, same documeted at. It's simple tool to use.
