QMH2562 for BL680C
Hi,
I have used HP ConfigureAIDER to config a blade system. after making LOM it has listed QLogic QMH2562 8Gb FC HBA for BL680C, but I am not sure if they are compatible or not. How can I check it?

Re: QMH2562 for BL680C
Hi Jalal,
Check the quickspecs. For the QLogic QMH2562 8Gb FC HBA the quickspecs are at;
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/13192_div/13192_div.pdf
The compatibility matrix on page 3 does not include bl680c, only bl685c. (but I would check with HP)
Dave

Re: QMH2562 for BL680C
Thanks Dave,
I have seen that page on HP Product Bulletin (but it dose not have notification about G5 Series) and it seems BL680C is not on the list.
It is strange why QMH2562 is listed at HP eConfigure Solutions for BL680C.
Cheers,

Re: QMH2562 for BL680C
Yes, that is strange, however the 8Gb HBA's are still (relatively) new, so the quickspec may be out of date.
I would still check with HP. It maybe that it is OK if the firmware is above a certain level.
Dave.
