SPLUNK management of blades ?
Robert had a customer question:
***************
Anyone have any customers using Splunk to manage their blade environment ?
I have a customer that is looking to have the OA and VC logs dumped into a Splunk server to help manage the environment.
Looking for any feedback or knowledge of this tool.
****************
Reply from Dan:
*************
Splunk supports "syslog" as an incoming feed and we support syslog out from both the OA and VC.
Should be as easy as making sure Splunk is accepting incoming syslog and then configuring the Splunk server as the target on our side.
IIRC syslog on the OA is configured per OA module but on VC its configured centrally per VC domain.

Anyone using SPLUNK out there? Let us know how it works please.
