Re: VC Firmware Version
You may check the VC and FC firmware from Onboard administrator in GUI mode.
vcutil is another utility to check the firmware
e.g.
vcutil -a
Commands:
version
report
update
discover
another utility which is used to display and update firmware on Virtual connect module is VCSU
for more info check the user guide
http://bizsupport.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01375251/c01375251.pdf
hope this helps,
Aftab

Re: VC Firmware Version
Onboard administrator >> enclosure settings >> Interconnect Bay Information
page 166 of OA guide explains the rest
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00705292/c00705292.pdf
Due to some reason if firmware revision of VC interconnect module is not listed or listed incorrect;ly in GUI mode Run the VC utility to get the information as shared in the previous post.
to correct this problem.. failover to redandant OA, reseat the primary OA and check the tab again...
hope this helps,

Re: VC Firmware Version
it should list the firmware revision as well.. could be some issue with firmware..
generate the report using the same utility and check the report whether firmware revision is listed there.
from OA GUI >> enclosure setting generate show all report and check the firmware revision
thanks

Re: VC Firmware Version
But the OA does report the VC-Ethernet firmware. You can see this by selecting the VC_Ethernet modulein the GUI. Or run the Enclosure Info - Enclosure Settings - Configuration Scripts - "Click here to view the inventory". The resulting text file includes a series of SHOW statements. Look for "show interconnect".
The OA cli show commands can also be run from the OA cli.
