VirtualConnect Uplink Port Groups (Top Switch)
Hello
We have a c700 with 2x VC F8 and 2x VC 10 deployed. I struggle a bit understanding correct wiring the interconnects and uplinks.
- Horizontal is done internally between F8s and 10s, thats fine.
- Vertical links I got slot 1 to slot 4 and slot 2 to slot 3 each two 10GB DAC.
- Uplink I have 40GB from slot 1 to Top-Switch and 40GB from slot 2 to Top-Switch.
I have two questions:
- should I add more vertical links, like slot 1 to 3 and slot 2 to 4?
- should I add uplink from slot 3 and slot 4 to Top-Switch?
Most important qustion:
- the uplinks go into individual ports or in one trunk LACP group at Top-Switch?
Thanks, kr.
