HP/ Compaq merger?
What do you think? I personally am not too comfortable with this. What will be left of the competition?;

A few years ago, when DEC was still intact, it would have been a good move, especially the alpha chip technology, but since com-puke gave it to intel, and com-puke droped the vax and dec lines, there isn't much business sense, other than getting a PC company.
No two large computer, or for that matter two large technology companies have ever been successful in merging. If they pull it off, it will be a first.
Maybe upper management of com-puke and HP shouldn't take any "golden parachutes"??
