CF Card GPS supported for hx4700?

I'm having no end of trouble getting my hx4700 to recognize my new CF Card GPS unit using pocket streets. I can't figure out whether I need a driver or if this model just won;t support the GPS unit. I can't imagine why it wouldn't. Please help.
