A5500-24G-4SFP HI JG311A Switch hwtacacs authentication key cannot be a cipher text.

When I tried to configure hwtacacs scheme on A5500-24G-4SFP HI JG311A Switch, I'm unable to use cipher text inkey authentication cipher ,<ciphertext> and it is throwing this  Error: Invalid key string. This is making me use simple text which is not compliant with our standards. 

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

you must write
primary authentication X.X.X.X key XXXXX

The encryption will be done

You can check with the command
display current
