Aggregating Links across switches between A Series IRF pairs

Having trouble finding/understanding the info I can find....

When uplinking a pair of A Series configured as IRF to another pair of A Series configured as IRF with SFP and 1Gbe fiber can links be aggregated across the switches therby providing both link and switching redundancy?   I am specifically looking to use A5120-16G Si pairs against an A5500-24G EI pair.

Any clarification would be very helpful and much appreciated.....

George

Yup thats possible. Since IRF supports whats called DLA, distributed link aggregation, member ports on a LAG can be on different member switches.

Thank you very much.  I thought I had reached this conclusion but confirmation before I spend my budget is really good to have.

Thank you again,

George
