DHCP helper issue on 4800g

Hi everyone,

I have an issue on the configuration of the DHCP helper on a 4800g. We are switching from an old DHCP to a new and the network won't switch the requests' redirection.

DHCP helper configuration is :

dhcp relay server-group 1 ip X.X.X.A (old DHCP)
dhcp relay server-group 2 ip X.X.X.B (new DHCP)

VLAN interfaces configuration is:

ip address X.X.Z.Z M.M.M.M
dhcp select relay
dhcp relay server-select 2

So, with this, the clients should get an IP from server B, isn't it ? The problem is, I still have DHCPREQUEST, DHCPINFORM and DHCPACK on the old one. Do you have any solutions ?

Thank you for the reading and my apologies for the bad english !

Hi!

Is DHCPREQUEST from Vlan? Did you remove the previous relay settings from this vlan?

Hi,

Yes the DHCPREQUEST came from the VLAN interface.

I remove the old dhcp relay server-group from the configuration and the problem persists.
