How to add more physical port to an IRF Fabric
Dear all experts and friends,
I have an IRF fabric between two switches.
Device A--------IRF-------Device B
+) Physical port Ge1/0 on Device A bind to IRF
+) Physical port Ge1/0 on Device B bind to IRF
=> IRF up, and working fine. But now, I want to add/bind more physical interface to IRF fabric:
+) Physical port Ge 1/2/0 ( device A)
+) Physical port Ge 2/2/0 ( Device B)
When I use the command:
IRF port 1
port group interface ge 1/2/0
I saw this message:
Check failed for reason:
This channel mode already exist!
Please help me to do that, I heard that i must add/bind physical interface before setting IRF fabric.?
Thank you so much | Lee Nguyen

No, it's not mandatory indeed the command port group exists at irf port context level...exactly for the purpose of adding a suitable physical port as new member of an existing IRF logical port.
Could you show us exact IRF status, exact IRF/physical interfaces details plus HPE SKU models/software version your IRF is running on?
I'm not an HPE Employee
