Hi, we have introduce HP A5800 series switch on our backbone which replaces all cisco we use to have.

My question is , which command do we use to check the maximum throughput on an interface .
Especially when it has to do with your uplink provider to check your bandwidth as an ISP.

Thanks

Re: HP a5800 series switches
Hi,
this would be a feature which is typically managed by the NMS (such as IMC).
You could also enable RMON statistics on the interface to get more detailed stats and history of the interface usage,
See configuration guide (Network Management and Monitoring Configuration Guide) for example configs,
best regards,Peter

Re: HP a5800 series switches
Hi,
I assume you could use
] display interface <interface-id>
or use cacti (www.cacti.net) or something similar to check and monitor your traffic counters.
