a MIB-Package for the Switch 5500 is available for download here:

http://support.3com.com/software/switches/5500/s4m03_03_00M.exe



If the Link is not working, you will find the MIB package under "Software & Downloads", search for the 5500 or 8814 and open the section "Network Management Software".
