Need help with new 4200G - Vlan partitions
Thank for viewing my post.
Am new to Vlans and managend switches.
I need to setup a simple network.
I have an ADSL modem router for internet with IP 192.168.0.1
I can plug in 4 computers to this router and use the internet with no problems.
I would like to add the 4200G into this system and assign ports to individual departments and let them access them internet.
I would like to connect my ADSL/router to the 3com 4200g to let say port 1 which I assume needs to have an ip address.
I would like to assign port 2 to let say accounts and use the ip 192.168.2......
I would like to assign port 3 to ip 192.168.3........
What would be the best way to set this up?
Thank you.
