SCOM network Monitoring
Hi Guys,
we are using Comware 5510 Switches for our Datacenter and Procurve 5400series Switches for the campus network.
Since a few days, we are starting a MS System Center operations manager PoC.
WIthin this, we are unable to receive any information from the CPU, Memory and so on.
Does anyone of you know a Management pack or has got the source to the MIB Files for using with SCOM?
Best regards

Re: SCOM network Monitoring
Hello,
On the software downloads page for each of the different switch models there is usually a big zipfile chock full of MIBs.
If you don't have any luck talking to the switches directly I have seen some success with the SCOM integration available for the iMC Network Management Platform. It is a pretty basic integration with an agent but it does a reasonable job of bridging the alerts into SCOM.
You can get a free 60 day trial (100 devices IIRC) or an extended trial and even maybe some help installing and configuring if you speak to your local friendly Aruba/HPE SE.
HTH
Ian
