I would like to ask you to check below CV SDM issue.
I have upgraded cvsdm to 1.09.02 version on my 11.11 HPUX box connected to VA7400 storage. The previous version was cleanly uninstalled and related sanmgr directories were removed (configuration saved). There is no problem to see mapped LUN's via ioscan. The same array is connected also to another 2 node cluster with cvsdm 1.05 version and there is everything fine. I found in forums similar problems and I followed instruction there and checked CV setup. Please check current configuration.

Any idea ?
I found also recommendation to change "max_thread_proc" parameter to at least 256 for 1.09 cvsdm. My current value is 64. Could it be that problem is there ?
Thank you.

Re: After cvsdm upgrade to 1.09.02 "armdsp -i" and armdiscover is not working
It is better to remove the old version and then install the latest version.
So remove all CMDView software and then install the latest version

My max_thread_proc parmater is 3000
It might be advisable to change it.
I suppose cvui also doesn't give any output?

Solution----
Yes, definitely!
If you review the swagent log, you will find this information too.
Try it, I'm sure it will work.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: After cvsdm upgrade to 1.09.02 "armdsp -i" and armdiscover is not working
Cvui didn├в t help.
Was somebody in my situation and change of kernel parameter solved mentioned problem?
I need to patch the system and also apply recommended java patches, so the DT will be needed anyway.
Ok I will change the parameter and we will see if it helps.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Re: After cvsdm upgrade to 1.09.02 "armdsp -i" and armdiscover is not working
Your remaining problem could be the java version on your client, but not sure about this.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
