decreasing disk I/O for performance improvements

I have a single P800/2 port Array controller on 4 MSA60 enclosures. I would like to know if an additional P800 array controller in this architecture will decrease I/O overhead.

Thanks,

Each port should be able to handle 300MB/s - are you close to hitting that limit?

Another good thing is that each MSA will get more space in the BBWC - so that means less access to the disks to retrieve data = decrease overhead?
