EVA 300 and max. number of disk drives

Just a quick and easy one:

How many disk drives does the EVA300 support as the maximum (56 in 4 disk shelfs ??)

If you meant EVA3000, yes. That is correct.
I've been told that it is a hard limit enforced in the controller firmware.
