EVA 4400 disk changed and unpopulated

After changing a failed disk, the new one is
unvisible. The bay is in status "unpopulated". Whats to do with it to come to ungrouped disks?

Re: EVA 4400 disk changed and unpopulated

It takes some time before the status is changed in command view.

Consider to try "refresh" from CV screen or restart the CV service.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

I'm waiting since 3 hours and started the CV often.

Re: EVA 4400 disk changed and unpopulated

unpopulated comes when eva is not sensing any disks in the slot. Can you confirm its seated properly & what are the LED indications on the disk ?

Hari

Did you restart the browser only or the CV service? Restart the service.

Hope this helps!

The LED's are green like the others.
Sorry, but I don't know how to start the CV.
I thought it refreshs with log off and log on.
What's to do to start the service?

Re: EVA 4400 disk changed and unpopulated

I assume you know how to start / stop windows services - so look for HP command view there, stop and start it.

Hope this helps!
