Is there any way to get the smart array 2dh from my prolient 1850r to work in this new evo w6000 workstation ?
I have it in but none of the smart array support cds will work on this box - have :4.2 ,5.4 ,6.4 from my servers.
I need the 2 channels because the megaraid has 2 channel input.
Im trying to just use the storage seeing as i dont need the server anymore.
The evo came with dual xeons and 1g rhombus and scsi on board and xp-pro.
TY IN ADVANCE

i don't think you will be able to get anyone @ hp to support this, but...
basically, this is a ml330 disguised as a workstation, so try using the win2003 smart-2 drivers on it. w2k3 uses the same device model as xp pro, so it should install unless the smart2 drivers have not been updated for 2k3...
the other thing you can do (i have done this on a w6000) is install w2k3 server standard edition with a smart array 532 with a 4314 attached.
