LSI SAS 9300-8e and HPE D3710 with Windows Server 2019, getting device slot number error
Im using a LSI SAS 9300-8e and HPE D3710 with Windows Server 2019 and the drives wont show up in disk mgmt.. I can run the lsiutil and see the drives and I have installed megaraid manager and can see them there as well..
I checked in event viewer and for every drive in the enclosure, im getting "\Device\RaidPort2 Device slot number is outside the enclosure range"
The sas controller is flashed to IT mode.. What am I missing here? The output of lsiutil is below

Re: LSI SAS 9300-8e and HPE D3710 with Windows Server 2019, getting device slot number error
Hello,
The server model is not mentioned so it is unclear whether it is HPE server or not, and also it is clear that you are not using compatible storage controller. You are using some megaraid controller which is not supported.
Quickspecs link: https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=c04227611
Given that this configuration is unsupported and untested, we are unable to provide any comments or insights on the matter.
Thanks,
TAM
