manual installation, array 221 not an option
I could really use some help...I have a Compaq ML350 P600 that I'm trying to run win2000 advanced server with smart array 221 and 4 scsi 9.1 gig drives. Firstly, I've updated the ROM using lastest ROMPAQ, then installed the 221 array, booted system, configured four 9.1 gig scsi drives successfully with array config utility, then went on to install win2k advanced server, selecting F6 to install scsi devices/mass storage devices. When prompted, I inserted the Win2k SSD (2000 support paq floppy made from Smart Start) and the array 221 was not among the selection of 4 controller driver options?? I can find nothing on Compaq's website to insure the 221 array is even 2000 compatible? I am using the latest Smart Start v5.20. I'm very confused...also very new to the RAID arena....ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
Thanks for listening...

Re: manual installation, array 221 not an option
The filename of the driver for the 221 is Compaq Drive Array. Please make sure to flash the ROM of the 221 controller. Here is the url:

flashing the ROM on the controller did the trick, thanks for the reply!
