i'd like to know what are the software we should instal?
do we need to install rep sol manager?
do we need a multipathing software if we put 2 hba?

SolutionYou don't need to install any multipath software on the EVA management server unless you present it any disks. CV-EVA talks throught the EVA controller LUNs and does not need multipath.

does the BC feature need addition software to be installed other than CV?

Re: Migrate from an SMA to a management server
RSM replaces the old "Busines Copy Server V2.3" with the web-based interface (whose older versions were also known as EVM - Enterprise Volume Manager) if you are familiar with them.
If you do not use any BC automation in your current environment - you don't need to install any additional software besides CV.

Re: Migrate from an SMA to a management server
If you are currently using CV4 with BC licence then if you go to CV7 or CV8 you will need to get a new/replacement Licence BC and one for Command View itself. The Command View lic would need to be for all your storage, so if you have 3.5TB of storage you would need a 4TB lic. Same for BC but only a 1TB lic might be enough if you are only going to replicate up to 1TB data.
To avoid this then you may be best going to CV6 and then patch to CV6.0.2. I suspect that if you are running CV4 now then there should be no problem with the version of VCS that you are using but you did not say what version you are running in your post.
As above - no need for RSM unless you want to use it and no need for MPIO on the management server unless you wish to present disks to the management server.
