Migrating existing logical drives on different P4xx cltrs

Hi,looking to migrate 2 existing logical drives on P400 to new P411 located on new MSA60 Array. Created the new Array, but how difficult is it migrate the logical drives? Do I have to make sure new logical drives on array are the same before migration? Od I just create a new array and migrate the logical drives? Thanks

Hello,

you can't migrate the logical drives. You can transfer the arrays with the logical drives by tranfering the disks to the MSA60. But in you case you have to copy the data from the old to the new logical drives. Just to a copy or backup and restore.
