new disk - Waiting for rebuild status -
Can someone please help me with the following problem. I replcaed a systemdisk (raid1) but the new disk does not completely rebuilds itself. It rebuilding for a few minutes but it stops and it`s getting a waiting for rebuild status.
I've read on the forum that several people expereince this problem. However I did everything I could think of but without succes:
- tried different disks.
- replaced the array controller, SCSI controller, even the complete motherboard.
- did an error check on the existing drive and repaired all sector erros.
- updated firmware/BIOS/controller/drivers/HP software (like ADU/ACU etc.)
- the needed reboots ofcourse
But it's all not working. Does anyone has another hint/thing to try?
Thank you all in advance!

Re: new disk - Waiting for rebuild status -
Yes I did that as written in the first post, but maybe it was not clear: did an error check on the existing drive and repaired all sector erros.
The disk I'm replacing are new, I also tested a used one. I did a scan for bad sectors on the main disk & they are all repaired.
