Remove hot spare disk from MSA30 logical disk

Hi,
I was trying to create a new logical volume using saconfig, but stupidly assigned one of my new disks as a spare to an existing logical drive. Does anyone know how I remove this disk and make it available again for my new logical drive? Any advice very much appreciated....
