StorageWorks 4354R to two seperate Servers with differing OS

Can I attach two seperate servers to seperate SCSI buses on the dual bus StorageWorks 4300 shelf if the servers have differing OS's?

Thanks for any help.....

If you are connecting 1/2 of the shelf to one server/controller by hard cabeing it. and atttaching the other 1/2 of the shelf/controller to another hard-wired server. The OS should not matter. 7 disks will be visible to the one server, and 7 visible to the other.
