1.I like to know i have different kinds of disk systems like SC10, FC10, DS2300 and HVD10 im im going to use in full bus mode kindly tell me how to configure this disksystems.
2.Another thing i like to know if the harddisk is going to be faulty we all know the led shows which one is faulty by the hardware and from IOSCAN we can see as well (NO_hardware)but in the disksystem it cant show any led except the disksystems led not the harddisk LED kindly tell me how to know which harddisk is faulty.

Re: ans is not valid about SC10, HVD10
Well, your questions are very generic!
First you must realize the differences of the mentioned JBODs:
SC10 LVD Ultra 2 SCSI enclosure with 10 Disk slots
DS2300 LVD Ultra160 SCSI enclosure with 14 Disk slots
HVD10 HVD
FC10 Fibre Channel enclosure it 10 FC Disk Slots (It is the same as the SC10 only the BCC cards are different, HVD vs LVD. The Disks are the same)
SC10 Manuals:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?contentType=SupportManual&locale=en_US&docIndexId=179911&taskId=101&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=33747
DS2300 Manuals:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?contentType=SupportManual&locale=en_US&docIndexId=179911&taskId=101&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=81148
HVD10 User Guide Manual:
http://h200005.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/lpg28482/lpg28482.pdf
FC10 Users Guide Manual:
http://h200005.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/lpg28397/lpg28397.pdf
You will find the LED meaning in the respective manuals
Note: The SC10, HVD10 and FC10 are not sold anymore and you will have problems to get upgrade disks.
Cheers
Peter
