We have a 9000 D250 box, which currently has a Jamaica box (model # A3312A) attached to it with 4.3GB Differential disks.
We need a to increase our capacity, and from what I can see, the box will take 9 GB disks, but these are now discontinued.
Does anyone know if it is OK to take out the 4GBs and replace them with 9GBs. If so, where is the best place to source second user disks?
Or, is it possible to put new 18GB disks into this model?
Your advice is very much appreciated!

Re: disks for Jamaica A3312A
Mike, I think as a company, we are limited to purchasing from our "Approved Suppliers".
If not, I get back to you.

Re: disks for Jamaica A3312A
Disks in jamaica are HVD (high-voltage-differential), although natively they (mechs) can be LVD, but use adapter board in its casing. Please use HP disks only. Do not try to connect SE or LVD disks directly to Jamaica's SCSI bus - it's HVD. Do not try to replace disks withing their casing to non-HP ones having non-HP firmware
