DS2405 LCC Firmware mismatch

Hi,
We have a DS2405 disk system attached to a rp7410, in which we have had to replace one of the LCC.
After the change we are getting EMS events warning of LCC firmware code mismatch.

Where can I find firmware update for the LCC modules (A6255-69001)?
I have downloaded the STM and Patch upgrades for the DS2405, the package refers to all sorts of disks, but not the LCC.
Searching on HP, I can't spot any other link or download specifically for the LCC.

Hi Geoff,

Are the firmware versions actually different? (I think the STM info tool will show this)

You can also get the EMS event from dm_ses_enclosure if the switches on the two LCC controllers are set to different addresses. Setting them both to the same value should fix this.

Thanks for the feedback.
I had a good look at this last week and convinced myself of the following:

That string is 2 DS2405 to 2 FCc adapter cards, configured exactly at the DS2405 user guide, figure 41. All led and responses and STM info indicate no problems .

The ems event message was reported initially frequently but last one was at 6am day of my visit.

All (four) controllers are reporting fw HP01,
STM is updated to Dec 04 release, but does not allow firmware update via tools - any how, as per the original comment, Neither I or the customers adim cannot find a firmware update for the LCC.

Are they upgradeable and if so from where and by whom ??!!

The only possible clue I have is that I now know that the replacement LCC card was installed before the address switch was correctly set , and that possibly the EMS event has reported an error occurring then -

however I am pretty certain there has been a reboot since the original message.

The sysadmin is monitoring the system for new events, and I should hear if situation changes.

Geoff,
I'm afraid I know about the OnlineDiags, but not much about the DS2405 or where to get the FW from.

I'm not completely sure what you're saying about the events. Have any events reporting mismatched FW been generated since the switches on the LCC were set correctly and the system rebooted?

Hi,
Well this problem has been 'resolved' by calling HP and having engineer with passord apply the LCC fw update.

Still not sure what exactly got resolved, nor why LCC firmware code not generally available.
