Firmware update PF_DSEACH3HP04 Fails.
I've a D390 with the following Seagate disks installed.
Class I H/W Path Driver S/W State H/W Type Description

disk 11 8/8.13.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE SEAGATE ST336704LC
/dev/dsk/c1t13d0 /dev/rdsk/c1t13d0
I've a number of drives that stop responding to the host. I've swapped one and another ones failed. I've looked into the issue and a possible cause is old firmware. Therefore I'm trying to update the Firmware on the drives from HP01 to HP04. I've created the boot tape following the installation instructions and I've booted from the tape. The boot tape starts to work and then crashes with the following error
Unexpected trap #9 (Break Instruction Trap) on CPU with HPA FFFA0000 at address 00000000000 in a test module
I know the DDS drive is good as I've already updated the PDC.
Any ideas where my problem might be?
Any suggestions greatfully received.
Cheers
Dave.

Re: Firmware update PF_DSEACH3HP04 Fails.
Sanjay,
thanks for you help. It does appear that I've been pointed in the wrong direction.
Cheers
Dave.
