HSZ40 - enable writeback cache? is this the correct forum?

Hi,

I have the licenses, I can't seem to find the command to enable writeback cache on my HSZ40 controllers.

Thanks
Rich

I don't recall that you need a license for writeback cacheing. Anyway, it is a characteristic of an individual unit, not a controller-wide setting. E.g.:
HSZ40-A> set D101 writeback_cache
.

Uwe,

When I did that, I received the error msg ("Error 9030:" if I remember correctly) stating that writebback cache was not enabled on this controller and the Other controller.

Tnx,

You need to run FLS ( Firmware Licensing System ) utility from CLI.

CLI> RUN FLS

Enter license key for the WBCA and then enable the WBCA.
