putting 700ma harddrive in Pavilion XH216
My Pavilion XH216 came with a 10Gbyte, 500ma, harddrive. I have a 20Gbyte harddrive with the same form factor and physical characteristics, except it is a 700ma drive. Will the added power requirements cause any problems?

Re: putting 700ma harddrive in Pavilion XH216
As long as the power supply can handle it it will be fine.
I use a 253 Watt and have 2x cdrom 2x HD and 2X case fans and all is ok

Re: putting 700ma harddrive in Pavilion XH216
XH216 is a laptop not a desktop. I'm not sure if 700ma ia supporte but I'd assume it shouold work. Maybe just drains battery faster?
