EMS event - GPN_FT query rejected
My storage folks have made some zoning changes and some HBA's no longer have devices assigned to them and they're not in any zones. As a result I've been getting EMS alerts regarding "Fabric Name Server rejected GPN_FT query."
Is there something my SAN folks can do to allow the GPN_FT query to succeed without having to assign any SAN devices to the node? Maybe our best option is to disconnect the unused HBA from the fabric and connect loop backs to them.
Anyone else deal with this before? Also note that I'd rather not have to fcmsutil disable the HBA as this change won't survive a reboot.
Thanks for the feedback!

Re: EMS event - GPN_FT query rejected
I'll be adding the HBAs to a zone w/out any storage or disconnecting and connecting up loop-backs since there's nothing zoned to the HBA anymore. This should solve the gpn ft query rejected alerts.
