geographic data replication
hi,
i am new here.
i saw that in geographic cluster framework if the primary site fails, then the secondary snapshot(which are copy of primary snapshot in primary site),should to be convert to primary snapshot.this is fine.but next this snapshot should be mapped to a LUN.Why this mapping?this snapshot could not be seen as it is by the servers?
There will be an San to San I/O over an special link between the 2 SANs,for every I/O from a certain server in geographic cluster over WAN?
tnx.
